My brothers and sisters, as we pray for vocation, allow me to draw your attention to a very important survey from the archdiocese that all the parishes must take. It is a survey that is extremely important for the future of all parishes in the archdiocese. It is called The Disciple Maker Index (DMI). “The Disciple Maker Index is an anonymous survey that asks questions about parishioner engagement and faith journey. It provides a “snapshot” of parishioners across the Archdiocese of Newark. This can be helpful in two ways. First, it helps to identify needs and opportunities to engage and develop parishioners as missionary disciples. Second, it captures a current benchmark so that, in a few years, we can see what effect our evangelization, outreach, and discipleship efforts have had.” You can either take the SURVEY online or on paper, hard copies will be provided at all the masses. If you do take the survey on paper, you will need to drop it of at the parish office as soon as possible. The survey link will be posted on the parish social media, Facebook, Instagram, flocknote, and website. If you have any question or concerns, please contact the parish office and ask for me, Fr.
